RAO series

The design of RAO series gearboxes utilizes a fully machined and bored case, enabling totally universal assembly. The compact design combined with the use of high quality materials makes this series highly suitable for heavy duty applications. These units are available with 2 reductions (a set of bevel gears and a set of a spur gears) and with 3 reductions, with a set of ground helical gear placed before the bevel gear (size 35-90). For size 100 the structure is the same as corresponding RAP; the only difference is the assembly of the front bevel gear set. Upgraded torque ratings are due to redesigned gears, reinforced bearings and new material, namely spheroidal cast iron UNI GS 400-12, for housings of better quality and stiffness.
